Tony Javier’s new co-working space and venue finally to open in February

Have you ever been partway through a construction project and decided to scrap the whole thing?

That’s what Tony Javier did before changing his mind and seeing his new Strategic Workspace through to completion.

The Professional Home Buyers owner moved his business to a former Davis-Moore dealership at 5025 E. Kellogg in 2018.

That summer, he announced that he also was adding a co-working space and venue to the 17,000-square-foot building.

“We had a lot of construction delays and overages and just a lot of issues with the job site,” Javier says.

He decided to place the building on the market, but it didn’t immediately sell.

“I got a little impatient and decided to finish out the space and move forward,” Javier says.

He’s now pre-leasing the co-working space, which will open in February.

Javier says in addition to having all new construction, there’s a lot of parking at the building and easy access to Kellogg.

“It’s really going to be built around community.”

Javier says that means there will be networking and other events along with seminars to help business owners using the co-working spaces.

They’re available for one person up to about a dozen and are month-to-month leases.

There’s also a venue space that Javier says he envisions for seminars and networking events. He says he’s not going to market it for weddings or similar uses, but he says, “We’d definitely consider renting it for something like that as well.”
