Emprise Bank said it plans to sell one of its branches in northwest Wichita.

The Wichita-based bank said in a news release that it is under contract to sell its 21st and Ridge branch to convenience store chain QuikTrip.

The final day of business at the branch at 7030 W. 21st will be Jan. 3.

“Emprise Bank has been focused on realigning its presence in the city of Wichita, evaluating branch locations with respect to traffic, future growth and the needs of our customers,” said Teri Ginther, Emprise executive vice president, in the release. “This gives us the opportunity to pursue a number of options in the area.”

Employees of the branch will be re-assigned to other Emprise locations, the bank said.

Emprise has $1.5 billion in assets and will have 26 full-service branches in the Wichita area following the sale.
