Botanica’s welcome to spring will be taking place the next four Saturdays: March 26 and April 2, 9 and 16. Tulips, Fairies & Forts will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each of those days and is included in Botanica admission.

The event will include, of course, blooming tulips and other flowers as they come out more and more each week, as well as games, crafts, face painting, dance-man deejay Ronnie Choy, fairy-story time, forts throughout the gardens, fairy dress-up and photo props, and a bounce house.

Each week also will have its own special features:

March 26: Paint the Towne art project from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

April 2: Exploration Place science experiments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

April 9: animals from Tanganyika Wildlife Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Poppy the Clown from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

April 16: the Bug Lady

Botanica also will once again have a fairy house contest; see botanica.org for rules.
