In my garden: the reward of ornamental grasses
We were rewarded for planting several grass species around our east patio by the warm, wet summer. This fall, the brilliant colorations and healthy inflorescence (particularly of the papyrus seen in the green pot at left and upper right) are phenomenal. Our appreciation of grasses began with a gift of some fountain grass from a friend, and has continued to grow with new seasons.
