The Grapevine (Nov. 8)

The last day for Holiday Tables is Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Wichita Center for the Arts, 9112 E. Central. The cost is $10. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for $12. The exhibit of festively decorated tables sponsored by Designing Women is a benefit for the arts center and includes a boutique of holiday items and homemade baked goods for sale.

Craft fairs this weekend

Holiday Craftapalooza and Vintage Market, jewelry, crafts, home decor, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Century II Convention Hall; admission $3, children under 12 free.

Holy Spirit Annual Spirit Bazaar, homemade crafts, baked goods, music, raffle every half-hour, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Explorer Elementary School, 454 S. 167th St. in Goddard; admission $2.

Arts & Crafts Fair, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, West Heights United Methodist Church, 745 N. Westlink; admission $1.

Christmas Expo, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Praise Assembly of God Church, 1125 S. Rock Road in Derby; free admission.

Thanksgiving craft

CityArts will have a Giving Thanks craft activity for adults to do with children from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 8 in the main gallery at 334 N. Mead. It’s free, and no registration is required. For more information: wichitaarts.com/cityarts/; 316-462-2787.

Rio Roses food drive

Valley Floral Co. is having its annual Rio Roses for Food drive this weekend. Go to Susan’s florist shop at 4737 E. Douglas with six food-pantry items or a $5 donations for the Kansas Food Bank and receive six free Rio roses. The drive continues Saturday and Sunday at Susan’s.
