Brett Harris, Sierra Scott are back on television in Wichita
A year after local station KSCW canceled “The Brett and Sierra Show,” the duo is back on the air.
Brett Harris and Sierra Scott, both well-known Wichita media personalities, are hosting a new monthly show on Yurview, Cox Cable channel 22 and 2022, called “Yur Hometown.” It will be a 30-minute, “hyper local” show that will feature interviews with Wichita city and community leaders, segments about local entertainment options, profiles of businesses and more.
The first episode aired on Sunday, said a Cox spokesman. Episodes will air every Sunday at 9 p.m. and Monday at 9:30 p.m. and will be frequently repeated. A new episode will be broadcast around the middle of each month, and if the show goes over well, it could become more frequent.
Harris, a longtime radio disc jockey who famously was partnered with Tracy Cassidy, most recently hosted a morning show on the Envision-owned KKGQ 92.3-FM, but that show was canceled in April after Rocking M Media bought the station.
He and Scott hosted their KSCW show from September 2013 until August 2016. It aired weekdays at 4:30 p.m. on Channel 33.
Scott is a former television anchor and host of the KPTS show “Positively Kansas.” In July, she was crowned Ms. Woman United States at a pageant in Orlando, Fla.
