Michael Sam hasn’t yet got another gig in the NFL but he will be working out on this season’s “Dancing With the Stars,” along with singer Patti LaBelle, “Hunger Games” actress Willow Shields, Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin and model Charlotte McKinney.

Eleven of the stars who will be on Season 20 were announced Tuesday morning on “Good Morning America.”

Actress Suzanne Somers, “Party Rock Anthem” singer Redfoo (of the musical duo LMFAO) and businessman Robert Herjavec of “Shark Tank” join the eclectic cast. Combat veteran Noah Galloway, who lost much of his left arm and left leg while serving in Iraq, will take on his next challenge paired with pro dancer Sharna Burgess.

Actress Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, will also be competing for the mirrorball trophy, along with musician Riker Lynch.

The 20th season of the show starts March 16, airing at 7 p.m. on KAKE, Ch. 10.

Liukin will be paired with pro Derek Hough, who is back as a surprise, as he had earlier announced his departure as a contestant. Shields, who is 14, will be a partner to Mark Ballas. The senior members of the cast include LaBelle who is 70 and Somers who is 68.

Sam, a free-agent defensive end who announced last year that he was gay and who was released by the Dallas Cowboys from their practice squad, has said that he wants to return to the NFL. But until he wins DWTS or is eliminated, he will be dancing with Peta Murgatroyd.

The anticipated announcement of the cast was met with excitement from fans of the stars, while those who aren’t that familiar with this particular crop of dancers scratched their heads.

“Dancing With the Vaguely Familiar” is how D.C. radio personality Matt Bosso put it on Twitter.

One more couple will be announced before the season starts.
