Alton Brown is returning to Wichita to promote his new cookbook, “EveryDayCook.”

The Food Network star, who drew big crowds when he brought his touring show to Century II in October 2014, will appear at the Orpheum Theatre, 200 N. Broadway, at 6 p.m. Oct. 6. The visit is being put on in partnership with Watermark Books.

Tickets are $45 and include a copy of the new book. They’ll be on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Aug. 5 and will be available at www.selectaseat.com, by calling 316-755-8328, at the Select-a-Seat box office at Intrust Bank Arena.

“EveryDayCook” is Brown’s first cookbook in five years and includes 102 recipes he makes for himself and his friends daily. He currently hosts “Cutthroat Kitchen” on Food Network and was the host of “Good Eats” and “Iron Chef America.”

Last time Brown was in Wichita, he made headlines by making the rounds to local coffee shops and restaurants then posting about them on social media.
