Tuesday is National Steakburger Day. Here’s how to get a $1 Freddy’s steakburger
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers really wants us all to join its loyalty program — so much that those who have will be able to get a $1 double steakburger on Tuesday, which just so happens to be National Steakburger Day.
Those who have signed up for the program before Tuesday will receive an offer on Tuesday that will enable them to get a double steakbuger, a la carte, for $1. They’ll be able to order the steakburger at a Freddy’s restaurant, at freddys.com or through the Freddy’s app. The deal will be good only on Tuesday and does not apply to combos or other sandwiches.
It’s free to join the rewards program, and people who do also can earn points on all of their purchases toward free drinks, food and frozen custard. Rewards members earn 10 points for every dollar they spend. People can sign up at www.freddys.com/rewards or by downloading the Freddy’s app.
The Freddy’s chain was started in Wichita in 2002 by brothers Randy and the late Bill Simon and business partner Scott Redler. In September, it was acquired by investment funds affiliated with Rhône, a global private equity firm, from Thompson Street Capital Partners, a St. Louis, Missouri-based middle-market private equity firm that in 2021 purchased Freddy’s from Randy Simon and Redler.
