If Harrison Ford isn’t careful, Kelsey Grammer may soon replace him as Wichita’s favorite adopted celebrity.

Though Ford — who famously visits Wichita once a year for pilot training — has yet to make his 2025 appearance, Grammer is about to return for his third visit in less than a year.

“Frasier” star Grammer, who in January spent several days in Wichita signing autographs at local liquor stores and pouring beer at local bars, will be back again for a guest bartending gig at a new Delano restaurant.

Grammer, who has Wichita Brewing Company brewing his Faith American Brewing Company beer for distribution in Kansas, will be behind the bar at the new WBC Delano at 901 W. Douglas starting at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.

He’s returning to promote his New York-based brewery’s latest Kansas release — a beer called Faith American Ale, said Jeremy Horn, owner of WBC’s production and canning facility at 727 E. Osie. In January, Grammer was promoting his Faith American Blue Hazy — a hazy IPA.

Grammer — who famously portrayed Frasier Crane on “Cheers” and on its spin-off show “Frasier” in the 1990s and early 2000s — opened his brewery in the Catskills of New York state in 2015.

Thursday’s appearance will mark Grammer’s third visit to Wichita in less than a year.

He was in town in April 2024 performing as part of Wichita Grand Opera’s production of “Candide” when he was connected with WBC’s owners and started negotiating a deal that would expand production and distribution of his beer into Kansas. Now, Faith American beer is on tap at local bars and restaurants and is sold in local liquor stores.

The last time he was in town, Grammer amiably chatted with fans and signed autographs during his appearances.

“He’s the best beer salesman I know,” Horn said. “We could use him full time.”
