Drive-through coffee chain 7 Brew will open fourth Wichita shop on the west side of town

Wichita’s first 7 Brew coffee drive through opened in September 2022 at 3031 E. Central. After that, two more east-side 7 Brews opened — one at 110 N. Rock Road and another at 11465 E . 21st St.
Now, the Wichita-based franchisees responsible for those shops have finally found a west-side spot.
Fencing is already up at the site, which is in the very northeast corner of the Lowe’s at Maple and Ridge. Customers of the future 7 Brew, whose address will be 325 S. Ridge Road, will have to drive into the Lowe’s parking lot to access it.

Though 7 Brew stores typically go up pretty quickly — they operate out of little prefab buildings that are dropped onto chosen sites — this one will take a little longer, said Conner Johnson, the operating partner of the Wichita ownership group.
The franchisees have to work with Lowe’s, whose property the building will sit on, to get the proper sewer lines installed, so they’re guessing it could be three to four months before the shop is ready.
Johnson said that the franchisees originally thought they’d open on the west side first, but they were able to find properties on the east side more quickly.
They think the west side of Wichita could handle at least a couple more 7 Brew shops.
“We’re actively looking,” Johnson said. “...Real estate is the most important thing.”
The 7 Brew chain is based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and has more than 200 shops across the country.
