Wednesday update: Wichita restaurants closed, altered because of boil water advisory
Last time Wichita had a boil water advisory — back in October — restaurants across Wichita were forced to temporarily shut down.
Now, it’s happening all over again.
Late on Tuesday, the city of Wichita issued another boil water advisory, saying that water quality was affected during routine maintenance at the water treatment plant.
Several restaurants closed on Tuesday night, and more announced that they’d have to close on Wednesday. Particularly affected so far are coffee shops, who rely on water to prepare their beverages.
Know of any other restaurants closing? Be sure to email me at dneil@wichitaeagle.com, and I’ll try to keep an updated list Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
