All-you-can-eat soup from a long list of restaurants being served today in Wichita
The Super Bowl is on Sunday.
But the Souper Bowl is today.
The 20th annual event, a fundraiser by HumanKind Ministries (formerly Inter-Faith Ministries) happens from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (Friday, Jan. 31) at a new and well-known venue: Exploration Place, the children’s museum at 300 N. McLean.
Tickets to the event are $30, and those who have them will be treated to all-you-can-eat soups provided by Wichita chefs and restaurants and served in handmade bowls made by local students and artisans.
The soups will be provided by restaurants including Carrabba’s, Cheddar’s, Newport Grill, Tanya’s Soup Kitchen and Texas Roadhouse. Planet Sub will provide bread, and The Spice Merchant will serve the coffee.
Tickets are available at www.humankindministries.org/souper-bowl or at the door.
