You can buy pay-per-view for Saturday night’s big fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao for almost $100. Or you can save some money and watch it in one of the local restaurants and bars screening the 8 p.m. fight for patrons. They have to pay, too, so they’re charging for seats. Here’s what a few have planned:
Hooters, 3151 N. Rock Road, 316-687-9464: The sports bar is offering reservations for $30 per person, but they must be made by Friday. If any seats are left, they’ll sell them first-come, first-served for $20 apiece on Saturday. Those who pay the $30 will get an order of free fried pickles. Everyone who pays will get $20 worth of coupons to use at a later date.
