UPDATED: Cast your vote in the Christmas song showdown
We all have our favorites. From “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” to “O Holy Night” to “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” holiday songs evoke warm memories and holiday cheer. They’re earworms you just can’t shake (no matter how much you may want to). But which one will Wichita declare the toast of the season? We’ve set up a March Madness-style competition to find out. Our bracket includes 32 modern, traditional and novelty tunes (plus one Chanukah song) that will be pared down to the final winner by your votes.
Here’s how it will work: Visit our tournament bracket and log in with your Facebook or Upickem account (you can create one if you don’t have one) and start voting. Each round of voting will last a few days. The bracket will paired down to 16, then eight, then the Final Four, and then the final two will compete for the top spot.
Of course there wasn’t room for all the great songs to make the list. So jump into the comments and tell us which ones you would like to have seen.
