Fun things to do in the Wichita area this weekend (March 26-27)
Easter is Sunday, and there are several events on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate that, as well as spring. Here are some of the things going on in the Wichita area this weekend.
Chautauqua County Redbud Tour, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, starting at Floyds’ Market under the big flag at the corner of Main and Douglas in Sedan; county map, three suggested routes, free redbud seedling per family, sponsored by the Sedan Chamber of Commerce; free; donations accepted.
Easter weekend at Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine; open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, sunrise ecumenical service 7 a.m. Sunday, gypsy jazz trio 2 p.m. Sunday, 301 N. Line St. in Belle Plaine; $5 donation requested except sunrise service is free; www.bartlettarboretum.com.
