The stars will dance into Wichita early next year

At least their celebrity dance teachers will.

On Tuesday, Intrust Bank Arena announced that the hit dance competition “Dancing with the Stars” will bring its live tour to Wichita. It will stop at the downtown venue on Saturday, March 15, and tickets to the show go on sale on Friday.

The live show will feature performances by the competition’s professional dancers, who have become celebrities in their own right. Among those who will appear are Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Britt Stewart, Daniella Karagach, Gleb Savchenko, Pasha Pashkov, and Rylee Arnold. The show also promises that “celebrity guest stars” will appear. In the past, some of the celebrity competitors from the most recent season have also appeared on tour stops.

“Dancing with the Stars” is in the middle of airing its 33rd season on ABC and Disney+. Among its celebrity dancers, who are taught classical ballroom techniques by professional coaches, are Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola, “The Bachelorette’s” Jenn Tran, “The Bachelor’s” Joey Graziadei and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik.

The live show, choreographed by Taylor Swift’s “The Era’s Tour” choreographer Mandy Moore, will deliver “an unforgettable night of electrifying dance performances,” according to a news release.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at DWTSTour.com, www.selectaseat.com, by phone at 316-755-7328 or in person at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at Intrust Bank Arena.
