Wild loses to Beef

The Omaha Beef scored 10 points in the fourth quarter to knock out the Wichita Wild 36-24 on Saturday in Omaha.
The Wild defense allowed its fewest points of the season, but the team fell to 0-5.
Darius Fudge scored the game's first touchdown, giving Wichita a 6-0 lead. Omaha responded with two TDs before Wild quarterback Brandon Walker ran in from 1 yard out to make it 13-12 at the end of the first quarter.
The Beef tacked on 13 points in the second quarter, but never pulled away.
A touchdown pass from Walker to Ernest Givens made it 26-18 midway through the third quarter. Walker's second TD run of the game pulled Wichita with two points with 10:20 left in the game, but the team didn't score again.
Fudge rushed for 52 yards, but the passing game sputtered again — Walker completed 14 of 27 passes for 91 yards and threw two interceptions.
