B-52s complete sweep of Seattle
The B-52s used strong first quarters in each of their two Major Arena Soccer League games in Seattle over the weekend, scoring nine goals to none for the Impact, to win games Saturday and Sunday.
Wichita won 10-5 on Sunday after winning 12-4 on Saturday.
Matt Clare scored three goals in Sunday’s victory, including the first of four first-period goals from four B-52 players. Abel Sebele, Byron Alvarez and Travis Pittman also scored as Wichita built and bit lead and was never challenged.
Wichita improved to 5-6 in the MASL’s Central Division. Seattle is 3-8 in the Pacific Division. The B-52s return to Hartman Arena for a Saturday night home game against St. Louis.
