The Chiefs released a lengthy injury list of players who were not expected to practice on Tuesday, including wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, who suffered a quadriceps injury last Sunday night at Carolina and running back Jamaal Charles, who has a bruised foot.

Bowe, who has been suspended by the NFL for the regular-season opener against Tennessee for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy, caught five passes for 62 yards against Carolina.

Charles did not make the trip to Carolina because of the injury which occurred off the field while carrying his belongings from the dorm to his car when leaving training camp last week at Missouri Western in St. Joseph.

Other players who were not scheduled to practice included: safety Eric Berry, who has been bothered for more than two weeks with a heel injury; wide receiver Junior Hemingway (hip), linebacker Josh Martin (quad), linebacker Joe Mays (wrist) and offensive tackle Ryan McKee (knee).
