Wichita State hires former Saluki as women’s basketball assistant
Wichita State has hired Kaci Bailey as assistant women’s basketball coach, replacing Chandra Dorsey
Bailey spent the past two seasons at Central Arkansas as an assistant coach. In 2012-13, she worked as interim head coach at Henderson (Ark.) State and helped the team to a 13-14 record.
Bailey played at Southern Illinois for four seasons, two with WSU coach Jody Adams as an assistant for the Salukis.
“Kaci understands the talent level and charter of the student-athlete that is needed at this to excel in our program at Wichita State and brings great pride and energy in finding those young women,” Adams said in a news release.
Dorsey left WSU, after one season, in June to become associate head coach at Texas State.
