Wichita State baseball coach Todd Butler recently signed his contract, a seven-year deal paying him a base salary of $300,000.

Wichita State announced Butler’s hire on June 16. He spent eight seasons as an assistant coach at Arkansas before taking over at WSU. He replaced Gene Stephenson, who was fired after 36 seasons and will receive $568,310 in the final year of his contract.
