The Kansas State basketball team added another member to its 2017 recruiting class on Monday.

Levi Stockard, a 6-foot-8 center from St. Louis, orally committed to the Wildcats and then announced his decision on social media.

Stockard chose K-State over several schools, including Xavier, New Mexico, Depaul and Missouri State. Rivals rates Stockard as a three-star player.

He took an official visit to K-State in late August and was recruited mainly by associate head coach Chris Lowery. He later visited Xavier, but preferred K-State.

Stockard joins power forward Nigel Shadd and guard Mike McGuirl in K-State’s 2017 recruiting class.
