The crime

From April 14 through April 18, 13 forgery cases occurred. All are believed to have been committed by two suspects using stolen checks from Chase Drilling LLC and a stolen ID. The men committed the forgeries at several Kwik Shops and Dillons stores. They also purchased $700 worth of auto parts from Auto Zone, 910 S. Oliver; a Stihl MS170 chainsaw at S&D Equipment Co., 137 N. West St.; and a windshield from the Windshield Shop, 229 N. West St.
