Can you help solve this crime?

The crime

On June 14, 2015, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Aaron Matej’s vehicle was stuck in a ditch in the area of 700 N. 183rd St. West. He walked to the intersection at 13th Street and 183rd West and called his friends to help get his vehicle out of the ditch.

When Matej’s friends arrived, they found him lying in the roadway after apparently having been struck by a vehicle. Based on observations by investigators at the scene, it is possible that whoever hit Matej was unaware they had run someone over.
