Detectives will present evidence in the fatal shooting of Sabryna Guerrero-Newman to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office later this week, police said Monday.

Guerrero-Newman, 23, was shot to death Friday, Lt. James Espinoza said. A neighbor reported seeing her being carried from a house in the 1100 block of North Hydraulic shortly after 8 a.m.

Darnell D. Hall, 22, was seen carrying Guerrero-Newman’s limp body to her dark blue Hyundai Sonata and then driving away. Guerrero-Newman was shot sometime after she was abducted, Espinoza said.

Her body was found several hours later in her car on 19th Street next to the Canal Route and west of Hydraulic. Hall was found and arrested in the parking lot of the Dillons at Harry and Edgemoor late Friday morning.

Investigators will present evidence in the case to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office late Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, Espinoza said. Hall has been booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and is being held on $1 million bond.
