File photo

A Wichita man has been found guilty in federal court of all counts related to a Wichita police sting operation involving massage parlors.

Kay Tee, 51, was found guilty of one count of attempting to entice a person to cross state lines to engage in prostitution, one count of using a telephone in furtherance of prostitution and one count of money laundering.

Tee was arrested in May 2015 at the Wichita airport when he drove there to pick up a person he believed was buying a Wichita massage parlor. However, the person was one of two undercover informants working with federal investigators.

Tee had attempted to collect fees from the informant, and another informant who posed as a seller, for brokering the deal.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 13.

He faces maximum penalties of 20 years and up to $250,000 for each of two of the charges and a maximum of five years and $250,000 for the other charge.
