Man stabbed during argument in north Wichita early Saturday
Two adult sons of a 39-year-old woman arguing with another man early Saturday morning “took exception to the argument,” resulting in the man receiving five cuts and two stab wounds, Wichita police Sgt. Roger Runft said.
Police were called to the 3000 block of North Waco around 3:30 a.m. Saturday for a report of “a couple arguing,” Runft said. One of two of the woman’s sons pulled out a knife and stabbed the 36-year-old man with whom she was arguing and fled the scene, Runft said.
The man sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries, he said.
Runft said police are unsure of the relationship between the man and the woman, but they do live at the same address.
The sons are 19 and 20, respectively. They have not been located by police yet, Runft said.
