Two arrested after shooting at skaters in Aley Park on Friday, police say
Two suspects are in custody after allegedly firing upon at least three teenagers at a skate park at Aley Park, in the 1800 block of South Seneca, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Wichita police Sgt. Roger Runft said four people were skating at the park Friday evening when two others arrived and started firing at at least three of the teens.
None were hit with the bullets, and no injuries were reported.
Police responded to the scene and located two suspects. They were arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, Runft said.
Police have “no indication” if the teens knew each other or not, Runft said.
