One person killed, another injured in Kansas Turnpike crash near Haysville
One person is dead and another injured after a multiple-vehicle crash was reported in the northbound lanes of the Kansas Turnpike around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The crash was reported around mile marker 39, which is near Haysville.
All northbound lanes were blocked as of 11 p.m., according to a tweet from the Kansas Turnpike Authority.
According to a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher, anywhere from two to four vehicles were involved in the crash.
One person was pronounced dead at around 10:45 p.m., and another person was reported to have serious injuries, according to the dispatcher.
