Hutchinson police: 25-year-old man fatally shot

A man has died after being shot multiple times in Hutchinson.

According to Sgt. Eric Buller with the Hutchinson Police Department, 25-year-old Jose Morales was found with multiple gunshot wounds by officers around 3:50 p.m. Monday. A news release from the police department says he was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

The release also says that a 31-year-old man has been arrested on one count of first-degree murder in connection to the shooting. He is being held on $100,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
