Kansas man dies after losing control of car, crashing into fence and pole
A 40-year-old Morrill man died Friday afternoon after losing control of his car on 280th Road, about a mile east of Hamlin in Brown County.
Ernest Reynolds III was westbound on the road just after noon driving at a high rate of speed, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
He lost control of the car, left the roadway and then went through a barbed wire fence and telephone pole. His car then went airborne over a creek bed and stopped in a pasture, the report says.
Reynolds died at the scene.
