Valley Center police attempting to find couple, kids

Valley Center police are trying to find a young couple and children who may be heading to Colorado, the department said in a Facebook post.

Gracie M. Burke, 5, was last seen with her mother Kaylie Koerner, 22, who may be using the last name Burke, according to the department. Koerner’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Stephen J. Rogers, is with them, as is another 6-month-old child, according to the department.

The group, which may be heading to Colorado, is driving a dark blue Dodge Durango with Kansas tag 006EZU. The group left “sometime over the weekend,” according to the post.

Valley Center police are attempting to locate them for a welfare check.
