A previous ownership group had been leasing west-side office space at 734 N. Maize Road.
Now, managing partner Brandon Knowles and his partners have purchased a 5,500-square-foot building at 10680 W. Maple.
It’s one of a number of changes the owners have been making since their late-summer acquisition.

“It’s really flown by,” Knowles says. “I look up, and we’re six months into it.”
He says it was a priority to get a new west-side office that is more of a flagship office designed for the way the company now works. The building also will be home to a title company and a lender that will be announced later.
For now, Select Homes’ approximately 30 agents are either working from home or the firm’s east-side office on East 21st between Rock Road and Woodlawn until the new office is ready in late April or early May.
With the new office, the company will announce some tweaks to its name and logo as well.
Knowles says his initial goal after acquiring the company was to evaluate processes and staff.
“We’ve really worked hard the last few months to put processes in place,” he says.
“I went through every little detail of our business from how we put a sign out to how we market,” Knowles says. “We just want to be a good company to work with.”
He says the new west-side office will be designed to be compatible with how agents work today.
Knowles says the office will be a friendly environment with a coffee bar and fireplace setting that’s ideal for customers and agents, many of whom work remotely.
“The model of the big office is going away.”
Now that processes are in place and the new building’s remodeling is in the works, Knowles says it’s time to focus on the next step.
“So now we turn our attention to growth and looking at opportunities,” he says. “Things are going well.”
