Eastern Cuisine, which opened in August, is moving.
Currently, it’s in the former Lotus Leaf space in Delano at 613 W. Douglas.
On April 1, it will celebrate a grand opening at 3811 W. 13th St. near the southeast corner of 13th and West Street.
“That place is a little bigger place,” says owner Tumaini Kilangwa. “And most of our customers come from that side.”
Kilangwa, a native of Tanzania, Africa, serves African cuisine along with food from countries such as England, Ireland, India, Italy and the Philippines.
The new restaurant will serve lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays. It will be closed on Saturdays.
Don Piros of Landmark Commercial Real Estate handled the deal for the new space.
