Viega to add manufacturing operation, 100 jobs in McPherson

Viega announced that it will break ground in November on an 80,000-square-foot addition at its giant McPherson warehouse and add 100 jobs.

The company, a German-based manufacturer of pipe fixtures for plumbing, heating and industrial uses, has its U.S. headquarters in Wichita. It will expand the 439,000-square-foot McPherson warehouse/manufacturing operation to start making MegaPress carbon steel press fittings there, starting in 2016.

Viega owns and operates five manufacturing and distribution centers around the United States.
