Mennonite Housing to open French Quarters next week

Mennonite Housing will be opening its 34-unit French Quarters Apartment project next week, the organization said Friday.

French Quarters, 1504 N. Kansas, has 17 duplexes in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations. The project also includes a clubhouse, carports, on-site laundry and playground.

A ribbon-cutting for the affordable-housing complex is set for 1 p.m. Thursday. According to a news release from the organization, the event will include representatives from the Wichita City Council and Sedgwick County Commission, as well as legislators and Rep. Mike Pompeo, R.-Kan.
