Men charged with sex crimes involving 7-year-olds

Two men were charged in Sedgwick County District Court on Thursday with sex crimes involving 7-year-old girls in separate incidents.

Raymond Buberwa, 27, was charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child in connection with alleged lewd fondling or touching a 7-year-old girl while she was at a friend’s house for a party on Saturday in south Wichita, according to a court document. He is being held on $100,000 bond.

Bryan Hale, 28, was charged with one count of rape and one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child in connection with alleged incidents between Jan. 1, 2012, and April 30, 2013, according to a court document.

The victim was 6 early in the specified timeframe and later turned 7. Hale is being held on $250,000 bond.
