Former state Rep. Bonnie Huy of Wichita dies at age 77

Former Rep. Bonnie Huy, R-Wichita, died Thursday. She was 77.

Huy represented District 87, in eastern Wichita, in the Kansas Legislature from 2001 to 2006.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. May 18 at Resthaven Mortuary chapel, 11800 W. Kellogg. Visitation is slated for one hour before the service.
