Pompeo names three to congressional staff
WICHITA _ Fourth District Congressman-elect Mike Pompeo today named three members of his staff, including two native Kansans.
Former Wichitan Mark Chenoweth was named chief of staff, and Augusta native Chuck Knapp was selected as deputy chief of staff.
Jim Richardson will serve as Pompeo's legislative director. Richardson previously worked in the congressional offices of Todd Tiahrt and Jim Ryun.
Chenoweth is currently legal counsel for Anne Northup, a commissioner on the Consumer Product Safety Commission. A former Koch Industries employee, Chenoweth has also worked for the Department of Justice in the George W. Bush administration.
Knapp most recently served as senior advisor to Tiahrt.
