Kansas 5-year-old matches presidential wits with Kevin Spacey on ‘Ellen’ (VIDEO)
Five-year-old Macey Hensley of Council Grove, Kan., made a return visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres” show and went head-to-head with Kevin Spacey in a game of presidential trivia.
In “Spacey vs. Macey,” part of Monday’s episode, the tiny expert on U.S. presidents obliterated the guy who plays the president on “House of Cards.”
Macey knew how many rooms are in the White House (132), who was the first president to have electricity in the White House (Benjamin Harrison) and easily recognized photos of American leaders across the decades.
Macey first visited Ellen’s show in February and has become somewhat of a celebrity since then. When Ellen asked if people recognize her now, world-weary Macey said: “It’s fun at times, but there’s times when I just get tired of it.
“They want my picture or my autograph, and it’s just like, ‘OK, I’m five!’”
Ellen was so taken by the tyke’s personality and presidential prowess that she sent Macey for a visit to the White House.
As Macey walks through rooms with Bill Allman, White House curator, she excitedly calls out the names of presidents she spies in portraits on the walls.
“It was the best day ever,” she told Ellen.
