Country music icons Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard will perform together in concert at Hartman Arena on April 12, the arena announced Monday.

Nelson, a seven-time Grammy winner known for songs such as “Always on My Mind” and “On the Road Again,” last performed in Wichita in March 2014. Haggard performed a sold-out show with George Strait at Intrust Bank Arena in April 2014 and performed at the Stiefel Theatre in Salina in November.

Nelson and Haggard’s duet album, “Django and Jimmie,” their sixth album collaboration, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s country album chart when it was released in June.

Tickets for the April 12 show start at $35 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com, over the phone at 800-745-3000, or in person at the Hartman Arena box office.
