Kentucky Knife Fight at the Crown

Music promoter Naymlis Entertainment is putting on another show at the Crown Uptown, this one featuring headliners Kentucky Knife Fight, a six-piece punk-blues band out of St. Louis, plus opening acts Your Friend, Christian Lee Hutson and The Travel Guide. The show begins at 8 p.m. Friday at the Crown, 3207 E. Douglas. It’s an all-ages show. Admission is $12 at the door. For information, visit www.naymlis.com.

Stony LaRue to play makeup date at Cotillion

Roots/country musician Stony LaRue, who canceled his show at the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg, in March, is making up the date on Friday. Tickets purchased for the March show will be honored, and tickets still can be purchased. They’re $20 and are available at the door. The show, which starts at 8 p.m., is open to all ages. Styx at the Stiefel

Classic rock band Styx, which performed at Intrust Bank Arena earlier this summer, will be back in the area on Sunday for a performance at Salina’s Stiefel Theatre, 151 S. Santa Fe. The group is known for hits including “Mr. Roboto” and “Come Sail Away.” The show is at 8 p.m. Tickets are $79, $89 and $99 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 785-827-1998.
