The 2026 Kansas high school track and field season is in full swing and the Wichita area has no shortage of stars worth watching.
From proven state champions to rising names ready to break through, South Central Kansas once again features impressive depth in all different events. To spotlight that talent, The Eagle assembled 150 girls athletes from nearly 100 schools around the metro area who should help shape the season this spring. This is not a definitive ranking of the 150 best athletes in the region, but rather a collection of many of the top names to know.
Each list is arranged alphabetically and broken down by event with 10 athletes featured in every category.
