Gary Squires has resigned as the North boys basketball coach, athletic director Mike Church said Tuesday.

Squires was coach at North for 10 seasons. He coached the 2013 Redskins team that won the City League. He coached players including current Wichita State senior Conner Frankamp.

Squires finished 105-115 (76-84 in the City League) at North. He is 10th in victories while coaching the City League, including 30 while at Carroll in the early 1980s.
