Trinity Academy freshman Maycee Bell named Kansas Gatorade soccer player of the year

Trinity Academy freshman Maycee Bell was named the Kansas Gatorade player of the year on Tuesday.

Bell has helped lead Trinity to an 11-3 record and a No. 1-ranking in Class 4-1A by the coaches association. She has 19 goals and six assists.

She missed portions of the season to play in Italy with U.S. soccer’s under-16 national team. She also has been part of the national camp for the under-17 women’s national team.
