Eagle reporters and Open Season newsletter writers Chance Swaim and Michael Stavola want you to submit a photo of your hunting dog, your dog’s name, age, breed, sex and hunting specialty and a brief biography of 200 words or less explaining why your dog deserves the title of best dog. Multiple submissions are welcome.
Please provide the owner’s name, email address, daytime phone number and mailing address.
Submissions will be open Oct. 30–Nov. 14. Voting will run from Nov. 15–29. Any Kansas resident with a hunting dog may enter the competition. All breeds and quarries are welcome.
The winner will be determined by online votes. The top three vote-getters will have their backstories featured in the Open Season newsletter.
