Boshers pitches Wingnuts to victory over Laredo
Alex Boshers allowed two runs over six innings to help the Wingnuts beat Laredo 6-2 in an American Association game on Sunday night in Laredo, Texas.
Boshers (8-3) gave up seven hits and dropped his ERA to 3.17. Chad Nading, Seth Harvey and Frankie Reed each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
Christian Stringer and Zack Cox had three hits each at the top of the Wingnuts’ order. Cleanup hitter Matt Chavez drove in two runs with a ninth-inning double.
