Joplin beats Wingnuts 3-2
Joplin scored twice in the final three innings and beat the Wingnuts 3-2 on Thursday night at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
Mark Krueger hit a home run off Wingnuts starter Eddie Medina with one out in the seventh to make it 2-2.
Edwin Gomez hit a single off reliever Chad Nading with two outs in the eighth inning, driving in Mitch Glasser from second base with the go-ahead run for the Blasters.
Richard Prigatano had homered in the fifth inning to give Wichita a 2-1 lead.
The Wingnuts begin a four-game series against Sioux Falls on Friday night at Lawrence-Dumont.
