Burt Reynolds homers twice for Texas, snaps Wingnuts’ six-game win streak

Burt Reynolds hit two home runs to lift the Texas AirHogs to a 7-3 win over the Wichita Wingnuts on Sunday in Amarillo, Texas.

The loss ended the Wingnuts’ six-game winning streak.

Texas piled up 17 hits to Wichita’s 5 — and the AirHogs still left nine runners on base.

The Wingnuts return home Tuesday night for a three-game series against the Kansas City T-Bones.
